  • Memory map of the 8051 microcontroller.
  • Timers of 8051.
  • Machine cycle and oscillator frequency calculations.
  • 8051 serial port.
  • Crash Course on C programming with focus on loops, functions, function prototypes, variable declaration and definition , pointers , typedefs , macros ,unsigned numbers , bit and sbit type.
  • KEIL simulation environment.
  • Creating project, building the target and running the simulation in KEIL.
  • Understanding Performance Analyzer of KEIL environment.
  • Reading Switches
  • Structuring Code and Object Oriented programming with C.
  • Real Time constraints
  • Creating a small Embedded OS.
  • Multistate systems and function sequences.
  • Using Serial Interface.
  • Case Study – Intruder Alarm System design and development using C.​

Mode of assessment for CERTIFICATION

  • Online exam of  1hour duration
  • Planned exercises that would be submitted by candidates during the course.

Certification

  • On successful completion of the course candidates will receive LEVEL 0 internationally recognized Certification from SafeTTy Systems.

Course has been running on-campus S.P.I.T  ,Andheri  for the past 3 years. Students were awarded credits for completing the certification.More than 200 students of SPIT have been Level 1 certified. 

Course has run on-campus Vidyalankar Institute of Technology.
